I am just listening to Diana Krall sing her version of Walk on By as I pen this post. What a beautiful voice and what a beautiful lady she is. That voice does hit you somewhere even if you are a cold-hearted b***t*** like me.She has just made me feel better without me actually knowing her or speaking to her. Hey i am not going to write a psycho type of post about her, don’t y’all worry, I have not yet lost my mental balance. What i wanted to say in a few words is why can’t the popular music industry highlight people like her vis-a-vis the Rhianna’s and Beyonce’s of this world. I actually want to listen to music which hits what it is supposed to hit rather than Lovie duvvies showing who has better boobs or thundering thighs. Wait a minute, I dont mind the boobs and the thighs ( am I a perv ?) I like them, but I know I would vote for the Adele’s and the Krall’s of this world…
