“Fight Against Stupidity And Bureaucracy”

Only two things are infinite:

the universe and human stupidity;

and I'm not sure about the universe.

At the weekend I was reading a post from ‘A Frank Angle’ which I had linked on to via Alex Autin’s Things I Love blog. Alex had been nominated for the “Very Inspiring Blogger” award  -  many congratulations Alex, well deserved  -  and this was one of the site she in turn recommended.

Versatile Blogger Award

I have to admit – I am frustrated today. Yesterday Nabadip nominated me for this award. In response i wrote a part-funny, part-silly and a part serious post. Unfortunately and not surprisingly i did a Sunny. I lost the damn post. In order not to get even more frustrated I have decided to be very Unsunnylike. I have kept this post short and simple. My Nominations are:

http://fasab.wordpress.com/

A blog on the lack of common sense in everyday life. Take your humour pills before you read it.

http://findingravity.com/

The blog talks about loads of topics, some very personal to the blogger. The beauty about the blog is the way she writes it. A blogger to learn from.

http://harrietvstheworld.com/

This blog talks about the bloggers “adventure” outside her homeland of New Zealand. She is funny and sharp.

http://nicfreeman.com/

This blog is primarily a travel blog. If you want to get an understanding of a “good traveller/backpacker mentality” this is worth reading. A mentality worth emulating whenever you travel.

http://secularjustice.wordpress.com/

This blog talks about the bloggers view on social issues. Its worth reading, even if you dont agree with the bloggers political view, as the language is moderate and he gives weightage to all opinions.

Here are the rules of the award -

Instructions for the Versatile Blogger award nominees:

1. Nominate fellow bloggers of your choice.

2.inform the bloggers of their nomination!

3. Thank the blogger who nominated you.

4.Add the “Versatile Blogger Award” pic to your blog post.

LOL!

The problem with abbreviations is that at times people don't really know what they mean, but still use it because others around them are!

This happened a couple of years ago.I had injured myself while playing cricket and was bedridden.
On the second day of the ordeal,I got a text message from a friend.Don't remember the exact words, but it sort of went like this-

Mist-veiled, ancient and peacefully picturesque, Scotland’s Isle of Skye is like a mystical forgotten land, chronicled in a dusty, leather-bound book. It is clear that nature rules there: stern peaks plunge into deep lochs with mighty authority; mist and cloud hover like a defensive old sage; and the wind whispers tales of the ages. It is place to revere, and a place where reflection comes easily as you stare out to the horizon.

The below is a list of what happens in my brain for the next 31 minutes after I hit “publish” each and everyday.  Note:  I only have about 1 original thought per minute, the other thoughts within that minute are variations of the original-thesis thought for that correpsonding minute.

Min 1:  “Did my post suck today?  It’s been a minute and there is only one “like”.
